Built super-light but super-stiff, with improved road holding and precise handling, the Aero Volant Road 30mm deep disc brake front wheel is engineered with the very latest in tubeless-ready carbon technologies. This hand-built wheel has enhanced hill climbing and road racing capabilities due to the world-leading AVR rim, legendary DT Swiss hub, and the world’s best Sapim CX-Ray aero spokes.
 
PURPOSE:

The AVR 30mm disc brake is a high performance, super lightweight wheel perfect for hill racing but still forgiving on those everyday rides. Although a shallow depth rim, the aerofoil shape helps reduce aerodynamic drag and mitigate crosswinds, creating more stability on the open road and exposed descents. This wheel is at home on weekly club rides, but the outstanding power to weight transitional efficiency creates less inertia to overcome, and this can be critical when tackling those competitive climbing stages.
