Built super-light for attacking hills with improved road holding and safer precise braking, the Aero Volant Road 30mm deep full-carbon rim brake front wheel is engineered with the very latest in tubeless-ready carbon technologies. This wheel has enhanced hill climbing and road racing capabilities due to the world-leading AVR rim, choice of superb DT Swiss hubs and ProTour Sapim CX-Ray aero spokes.
                                
PURPOSE:
 
The AVR 30mm rim brake is a high-performance pro-level wheelset with the UniDirectional fibre creating a stiff ultra-lightweight rim engineered for hill racing but perfect for those everyday rides. Although a mid to shallow depth, the aerofoil shape still reduces aerodynamic drag and mitigates crosswinds, creating more stability on the open road and exposed ascents. This hand-built wheel is at home on weekly club rides, but the outstanding power to weight transitional efficiency creates less inertia to overcome, and this can be critical when tackling those competitive endurance events and climbing stages.
