Our Aero Volant Road 38mm deep full-carbon rim brake wheel is hand-built with the very latest in tubeless-ready carbon technologies and has enhanced hill climbing and road racing capabilities due to the world-leading Aero Volant rims, industry-leading DT Swiss hubs and ProTour CX-Ray aero spokes.
                                
PURPOSE:
 
The AVR 38mm rim brake is a high performance, ultra-light-weight pro-level front wheel, and although built for hill racing, it is perfect for everyday riding. A mid to shallow rim, the aerofoil shape reduces aerodynamic drag and will cut through headwinds and mitigate crosswinds with more stability on exposed roads. This wheel is at home on a weekly club ride or sportive, but the outstanding power to weight transitional efficiency creates less inertia to overcome, and this can be critical when tackling those competitive endurance events and climbing stages.
