This 38mm WIDE deep full carbon disc brake front wheel is hand-built with the very latest in tubeless-ready carbon technologies and has enhanced hill climbing and road racing capabilities due to the world-leading Aero Volant rim, legendary DT Swiss hubs, and the pro`s choice CX-Ray aero spokes.
 
PURPOSE:
 
The AVR 38mm WIDE disc brake, is a high performance, ultra-light-weight pro-level wheel with a 30mm external width and 21mm internal width for lower rolling resistance, lower tyre pressures and outstanding stiffness, and although built for racing, they are perfect for everyday riding. A mid to shallow rim, the aerofoil shape reduces aerodynamic drag and will cut through headwinds and mitigate crosswinds with more stability on the open road and exposed hills. This wheel is at home on a weekly club ride or sportive, but the outstanding power to weight transitional efficiency creates less inertia to overcome, and this can be critical when tackling those competitive climbing and sprint stages.
